The Last Weekend

With dismantling scheduled to commence on Monday 28th, huge crowds appeared for their last chance and the streets surrounding Central Park were grid locked all weekend.

On Saturday we went up to the northern end of the park before the crowds arrived.

Harlem Meer was surrounded by gates...

and ducks and geese enjoyed the day - although one was clearly not an art lover.

Sunday afternoon saw The Mall crowded and vendors happy...

while Horse-Drawn Cabs continued in a never ending stream.

As the afternoon winds down, Gapstow Bridge waves a last goodbye....

and we complete the circle back at Cherry Hill before heading home.
