Down they Come
Dismantling commenced on Monday February 28.
Crews were out in force at the northern end of the park to commence bringing down the Gates, dismantling them and removing all the materials to be recycled.

As it happened, Mother Nature apparently preferred the Gates in place.
A blizzard developed on Monday afternoon and it started snowing heavily and continued until Tuesday afternoon, stopping work.
One last picture - Tuesday March 1 - Gates firmly in place, no work crews to be seen as a skier enjoys the fresh snow.
